How We Started
In 1999, Rick Piccirillo started Castello Landscape Construction Ltd. with the goal to bring a new level of customer service to the landscape construction industry.
Piccirillo’s tutelage began at the age of 13, working for his father’s masonry company after school and on weekends. As the son of a bricklayer, and with a family history built on honest, hard work, Piccirillo’s exposure to tradesmen formed the foundation of his passion for construction.
Eventually, he would venture out on his own, armed with that grassroots know-how, a customer-first mindset and a pickup truck, to create his own brand: Castello. Through numerous successful projects, Castello grew in size and Piccirilo joined forces with his brother, Pino, to initiate an evolution in the company’s business. Nucast Contracting Inc. was sequentially formed to better service large-scale construction projects.
Today, Piccirillo maintains that dedication to clients and has garnered a trusted reputation for quality and service. His devotion to his craft shines through in every project.
